Each member of the JWCS team brings a distinct area of expertise, allowing us to approach our work with both depth and intentionality. Meet Charryse
Principal Consultant | Founder
Charryse N. Wright is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Just Wright Community Solutions (JWCS), where she partners with organizations to strengthen leadership, transform culture, and build systems that support the well-being of the people they serve.
With nearly two decades of experience, Charryse works across government agencies, corrections and public safety systems, behavioral health organizations, nonprofits, faith-based institutions, and educational settings. Her work focuses on organizational wellness, helping systems move beyond strategy to create environments rooted in safety, dignity, alignment, and sustainable practice.
Charryse is known for her ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical application. Her facilitation style is grounded, engaging, and deeply reflective, creating spaces where individuals and organizations can examine how they show up and how their systems function.
Her work is informed by both professional expertise and lived experience, allowing her to approach systems with a depth of understanding that honors both people and structure. She is particularly committed to supporting organizations in underserved and under-resourced communities.
In addition to her consulting work, Charryse serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northern Seminary, where she teaches on trauma-responsive ministry and systems awareness. She is also the creator of multiple frameworks and training models, including Holding Space Without Losing Yourself and the JWCS Organizational Wellness Framework.
Through JWCS, Charryse remains committed to helping organizations become who they say they are, creating conditions where individuals and communities can be healthy, whole, and flourishing.
Meet Emmanuel
Facilitator & Organizational Wellness Practitioner
Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Philor Sr. is a grief advocate and spiritual care practitioner whose work centers on supporting individuals, families, and communities as they navigate grief, loss, and life transitions.
Emmanuel currently serves as a Palliative Care Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator at Temple University Hospital in North Philadelphia, where he provides spiritual care to patients and families facing serious illness and end-of-life experiences. His work in healthcare settings has shaped his ability to engage people with empathy, clarity, and dignity during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
With a strong theological and academic foundation, Emmanuel earned a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies from Lincoln University and completed his seminary training at United Lutheran Seminary and Drew University Theological School, where he earned a Master of Divinity, a Master of Arts in Homiletics, and a Master of Sacred Theology. He later earned a Doctor of Ministry from United Lutheran Seminary as a Croft Fellow.
Through both his ministry and consulting work, Emmanuel is committed to creating spaces where faith, grief, and healing can be engaged with honesty, dignity, and hope. His presence is grounded, compassionate, and relational, allowing individuals and groups to navigate complex emotional experiences with care and support.
At JWCS, Emmanuel supports the facilitation of trainings and learning experiences, bringing expertise in grief care, compassionate presence, and the intersection of faith and healing within complex systems. His work helps create environments where individuals feel seen, supported, and able to engage fully, even amid challenges and transitions.


Meet JoVan
Strategy & Research Consultant
JoVan Williams-Bey is a Program Analyst, organizational change strategist, and consultant with a strong track record of strengthening systems, supporting leadership, and advancing operational effectiveness across government, nonprofit, and community-based organizations.
With a foundation in Human Development and advanced graduate studies in progress, JoVan brings over a decade of multidisciplinary experience across public administration, corrections, education, and organizational consulting. Her work is grounded in both structure and strategy, supporting organizations in building systems that are clear, sustainable, and aligned with their mission.
JoVan currently serves within the DC Department of Corrections, where she leads cross-functional initiatives focused on operational restructuring, workforce development, training systems, and large-scale implementation planning. Her work includes developing leadership frameworks, supporting facility transitions, strengthening compliance systems, and coordinating complex, multi-agency efforts.
As a consultant, JoVan is known for her ability to bring clarity to complexity. She partners with leaders and organizations to translate vision into structured, executable strategies, supporting areas such as program design, organizational development, governance alignment, and systems implementation.
JoVan is the founder of Moments Consulting and the creator of Unleashing the Truth, a research initiative focused on capturing lived experiences to inform policy, strengthen community engagement, and support systems change, particularly within Black communities and family structures.
At JWCS, JoVan supports organizational strategy, research, and systems development, helping to translate vision into structures that sustain impact.
